This was an awkward episode to listen to on my way to work this morning... seeing the creation for the first time 45 minutes in is something allright lol

To be fair, the original premise (Bob and Mark instructing Wade to draw) was more listener-friendly. Anyway, the result is funny either way.

I listened to this while playing Minecraft but I did occasionally look, so I can confirm this episode is hilarious either way

When Bob said "Just dad things, you wouldn't understand." I couldn't figure out if it was because Mark isn't a dad or because he doesn't have a dad. Then I remembered the unus annus episode when siri couldn't find his dad in his contacts 😂

For anyone looking to do the blind draw-along, without looking at the video, listen to Mark's spiel here:
56:53
And then listen to Wade's description here:
41:59
Best of luck 👍

I was listening to this episode while on a cruise, it genuinely had me on the floor laughing, I think the lack of visual context only furthered its comedic effect

oh my, I listened to this one first and was a listener only until videos came out of youtube, so this is my first time seeing the mascot and man. my brain did not create what they created with just the discription

So I did listen to this episode as the video function was not working on spotify and in my mind the mascot was .............
not what i expected.

This episode is a prime example of the power of human creativity. AI could never.

For the record, tax prep services lobby very hard to keep it inconvenient to pay your taxes, just to force you to use their services. Like if you're just taking the standard minimum deductible, there's absolutely no reason the government couldn't just bill you and take a minute of your time.

Also related to Bob's story. A friend of mine once asked chat GPT to code a website for some storefront he was building.

chatGPT: "I'm sorry, that would require coding skills."
him: "Pretend you have coding skills."
chatGPT: "Okay! Here it is!"
