Just 0.004 seconds off pole… then a crash while leading! Jake Anders tackles Super One Round 9 at Shenington in a weekend of wet-weather karting, setbacks and fighting back.

In Heat 2, Jake was leading in P1 when he hit standing water, aquaplaned off and crashed into the tyre wall. In the final, another incident sent him to the back—but he wasn’t finished yet.

🏎️ THE WEEKEND RESULTS

Practice: P7.

Qualifying: P2—just FOUR THOUSANDTHS of a second off pole!

Heat 1: Wrong gearing cost us pace. Jake went backwards and finished P7.

Heat 2: Leading before aquaplaning off into the tyre wall. Dropped to last, recovered to P18, then classified P23 after a penalty.

Final: Started P15, got knocked off around two laps in and dropped to last. Jake fought his way back through the field to finish P9!

From front-running pace to a heartbreaking crash and a determined recovery, this Shenington race weekend had plenty to throw at us.
