After completing my 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Rishikesh Yogpeeth in the Himalayan foothills of Rishikesh, India, I wanted to share what the experience was really like🇮🇳
In this video, you'll follow a typical day in the life of the training, from early morning meditation and traditional Hatha yoga to philosophy, pranayama, anatomy, and the beautiful moments in between. Throughout the video, I also reflect on my experience after returning home, sharing what challenged me, what surprised me, and how studying yoga at its source has influenced the way I teach today.
With this training, I'm now a **500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500)**, and I'm incredibly grateful for the teachers, classmates, and experiences that shaped this chapter of my journey.
If you're considering completing a yoga teacher training in India, I hope this video gives you an honest look at what the experience can be like. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
