“In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary, come again?” One the greatest lines in movie history!

Brick Top is one of those examples of "Beware an old man in a profession where men die young."

Alan Ford deserved an Oscar for Brick Top. The scariest portrayal of a psychotic gangster I’ve ever seen

"If I throw a dog a bone, I don't wanna know if it tastes good or not"

Great line

Brick Top is one of the scariest, most vicious villains in cinema history. Absolutely outstanding performance.

Always loved the “I don’t care if he’s Muhammad I’m hard Bruce Lee” 😂😂

The expression on his face when he says no thanks Turkish I’m sweet enough is priceless 😊

"You can keep that silly fat wanker the lads cant lift him" is delivered perfect it makes me chuckle everytime haha

This role was rejected by multiple actors, it's incredible how unlikely it was for Alan Ford to get the part. And yet, thanks to the universe aligning, we get one of the most memorable villain performances in history of film. And personally my very favourite one.

- "You take sugar?"
- "No thanks Tur'ish. I'm swee' enough."
Pure gold !

This film is absolutely FULL of outstanding performances. There isn't a bad one in the entire film

Bricktop is terrifying. His portrayal of a london villain is perfection.

When Brick Top enters your house, you're the guest.

"It was a rhetorical question, Errol.  What have I told you about thinking?" is such an underrated line.

“When I throw a dog a bone I don’t wanna know if it tastes good or not.”

What a boss line.

Alan Ford was a masterclass as Brick Top. One of the most immersive and believable London gangland characters I've ever seen. For those like myself who grew up in London it's unmistakable how accurate Ford portrays that unpredictable, calm yet homicidally ruthless side.

9:01 "In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary, come again" Best line ever!

U.S. Customs officer, "Anything to declare?"
Avi, "Yeah, don't go to England."

I once knew a bloke like bricktop. He wasnt a crim, but his whole demeanour, sarcasm and intimidation was eerily similar.
