Born to rock! What is there left to say about THE classic bass sound? With its lush Black Satin finish and powerful sound, the Harley Benton PB-20 BK is built for rock and roll. The poplar body ensures a wonderfully light weight while the maple neck gives you a snappy attack. The signal from the HB PB Ceramic split-coil pickups is sculpted via the onboard passive electronics, delivering a thundering rock tone like the one that’s graced thousands of legendary recordings from decades of rock history!

I really like this Bass ! Been using it for about a year now.
A few months back I changed the pickup for the EMG P actives 😉
Didn't really like the pickguard tho ... I made my own cat-themed/shaped white pickguard 😂 (I make videos with it and other basses)
Along with D'Addario Nylon coated strings and it feels very good to play !!

very good bass. and as always. Im throwing everything out (pickup, electronics, pickguard) and putting new stuff in it. The rest is very good.

I like those colored headstocks so much it should be illegal.

I have this bass, what's not shown is the hiss or the weird angle of the neck that requires shimming to be playable beyond the 7th fret. I got it as a known project-to-be, and have a pile of parts to go straight in so no issues really. I do wish they would do the necks better though, my bridge saddles are slammed to the minimum and there is still 6mm at 12th fret...

I need a p-bass and the finish on this really twirls my beanie.

No tortoise we’re harmed in the making of these scratch plates.

Ok so a few were a little annoyed but not harmed, ya don’t live to be 400 and not learn lots of cool stuff and at 375 years old you try not being a bit grumpy now and again.🐢

I think Thomann could sell more classical PB-20 just with a black pickguard. It will look like Roger Waters bass.

Bought one earlier this year neck was like a bananna then played it a few months string broke...looked at the bridge intonation ectsaw it was screwed so far to the bridge so the pitch of the strings was too steep so ended up moving the bridge back about 125mm...still my main bass for giging!!
