North Work Wastewater Facility - First 'Blind' Try - Gameplay (DrainSim) - As requested by many.

"North Work Wastewater Facility" has been a map that was still sitting in my inventory and considering people really liked the idea of going in 'blind' first, like I did with the Dome map, I decided to do the same with this map. I had no pre knowledge about this map, nor did I watched any videos of it on YouTube. Stick around to see if, when and where I will find that switch.

17:42 As the place you're pumping into shares the same water as the place you're pumping out from (due to the hole in the wall), this would be exactly the same as looping the pumps to lower the water level.
Even though the hoses go into the next room, the water flows back to the pumps (it's a longer loop, but still a loop).

Those connections can be a bit tricky. Have you tried connecting the barrier to the pump, instead of the pump to the barrier?

Hahaha, I know the struggle, I tried to run it without using tricks but bumped into the same problems as you did, tried the barriers and it didn't work, hoped the drains below the dirt would help, but they don't seem to drain anything, then you place a gen and it can't be linked to the pumps so you have to move it 2 more times before finding the right spot 🙃
It's still an early version so let's hope it gets tweaked so there could be different ways to try to solve it.

You might actually be able to scrape that drain. There's a weird thing the game does when you swim into a wall - I think because the wall is technically a space with no water in it, whenever you collide with one the game gets confused and acts like your character isn't underwater but just standing on normal ground. That's why it's so hard to climb out of water sometimes, because you're effectively having to fight gravity next to any wall.

You can use this to scrape underwater drains that are next to walls, though. Just face the wall, look at the ground, and spin around quickly while raking - with a few tries, you should be able to clear drains like that.

1:23:17 The 2-4 hrs time was for the 1st map version (where there were no small drains in the main room and the floor wasn't sloped)
Also that was pre game patch, when the hoses and cables were worse than you had to deal with.
So playing normally you would have to try and pump the water out of the main room, and then vacuum the ENTIRE room.
