Gundam just hits different

The 0080 opening is such an emotion whiplash, and I was really surprised it's here. It really is very contrasting from flashy fight scenes to symbolic drawings of children's imagination during a war unfolding around them.

A lot of iconic songs here, but I got blindsided by My Dearest. I kinda forgot Guilty Crown did have mecha stuff in it because of how overpowered the main character was.

こうして時系列で見ると思ったよりデザインの影響に関してはマジンガーやガンダムやエヴァを真似るより色鮮やかな合体ロボはライディーンから、シャープな形のリアル系はマクロスから影響受けた感じがするな

어린이 완구의 생산능력에 맞춰 외형이 발전하는 느낌이네. 그리고 과도기적인 애매한 작품들말고 유명작 위주로 수입해왔었구나.

63～83年は行進曲が中心でほとんどが男性ボーカル。歌詞には「正義」「悪をぶっ飛ばす」「燃え上がる」「地球の平和」といった言葉が使われ、巨大ロボットの名前や必殺技名がストレートに盛り込まれた子どもに分かりやすいメッセージ性が特徴だった。84年に入ったあたりから歌詞に英語が増え、女性ボーカルが起用されるようになる。

さらに90年代に入ると、製作委員会方式の本格化に伴ってミリオンセラーを連発するJ-POPアーティストが続々と参入し、作品の世界観だけでなくタイアップ曲としてのヒット性や洗練されたメロディが重視されるようになった。

続く2000年代中盤からは、深夜アニメの拡大やアニソン専門レーベルの台頭により、オタクカルチャーに特化した電波ソングや、キャラクター・声優自身が歌うライブ向けのダンスナンバーが急増。

そして2010年代以降は、世界的なアニメブームや大型アニソンフェス文化の定着を受け、大観衆が一体となって盛り上がれるEDM風のシンセサウンドや、よりグローバルでスタイリッシュなロック・洋楽的アプローチが主流へと変化していった。
