I don't think any of the reactors realized that Pita thought that Creasy had died when during her kidnapping. There was also said that the things suggested, Creasy secreting C4 on his person was actually an alternative ending, with Creasy detonating it in the presence of La Voce.

Exactly what I have always wondered why this movie never got the recognition it deserved. And I think the topic of child harm hit to close to home for the powers that be

I first saw this on British TV, after a Friday night at the pub so was pretty pissed, but damn, this film sobered me up pretty quick and I cried like a frigging baby at this scene.
I've always thought that Creasy died before they could torture him, at least that's what I've always hoped.

Spoilers about the the book. It was set in Italy, the girl's named was Pinta. She was kidnapped and unfortunately found dead in a car in her own vomit and had been "R" word. Creasy heals up from the kidnapping and trains to kill everyone involved in the kidnappping. He actually falls for a woman named Nadia in the plot. Eventually, he kills everyone but sustains wounds and is pronounced dead at the hospital. However, he is not actually dead and reunites with Nadia. It kind of reminds me of the end of the "The Dark Knight Rises" in a way. So, that is how the book really works out. I like the movie though but is definitely different from the book by like 75%.

3:52 I can't believe anyone has notice that the sad music that sounds in this moment and 2 more times in the movie was the main theme of Gladiator.

I suspect the one in charge of the score has recently watch gladiator anf come with the idea 2 use this song to brake more the audience.

And when he presented it with this alternative song and make the director cry they must have say "give this men a rise" with tears in their eyes

I watched this movie on a plane back in 2009. I was buzzing from drinking too much wine on flight and I remember crying in my seat like a fucking baby 😑

Dakota and Wesley starred in Equaliser 3. Kinda like the idea of Creasey and Pita meeting up again.

There is the alternate ending where Kreasy does use a suppository bomb on The Voice. It's on the DVD bonus features.

You''ll probably be surprised to learn that there actually IS an alternate ending where he hides a bomb up his butt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5RQWlXoD_s

The one thing I wish they had done differently is that creasy should’ve gave pita the necklace to remember him by

What makes this hurt even more. All he heard was her scream his name and it haunted him and in the end her screaming for him was the best sound he ever heard
