We’re into Tasmania's remote temperate rainforests on the hunt for the next big gold deposit. I've had a few over the past few years but one thing about larger deposits like this is they are extremely rare and unique and once found only last a few days or weeks before it's time to pack-up camp and go in search of new prospects.
I'm currently in the transitional stage hunting down the next location, with spring just around the corner I'll be targeting some of the smaller creeks, with good amounts of rainfall providing adequate water to snipe. Prospecting has taken me to some of the most incredible places I could only have imagined, remote areas that only a handful of people would have ever seen in history. Unnamed waterfalls, gorges and rainforests with trees dating back to over 3000 years old. Today's video is one of these adventures and I'm so glad that I can bring these places to life for all to experience.

I’m a guy in a wheelchair who loves watching your videos? I know that I could never have adventures like that, but it is always awesome. Watching you with yours. Keep up the videos you guys like me hanging onto every flake of gold that you find.

I am not done with your video yet. But I got to the point where you say you are TLSOAB on the planet. It has probably been at least three years I have been following your channel. I suspect, like all of us, you wonder if you should do something else to provide for your family. Given the videos i have watched of you, this is no worry. Produce quality, the needs will be fullfilled. What I want to say is thank you. You fill my mind with possibilities of adventure, and I love it. Again, thanks for all your hard efforts. Just editing the vids is a huge job, let alone collecting the content.

I am recovering from spine surgery and have been able to enjoy you and your family and friends on your amazing aventuras. Of course after a life of exploring rivers in Colombia just for their beauty, it is wonderful to watch you get rewarded for your hard work with natures currency. Im 63 now, and these are the memories i am so happy i have. Family memories are number one, then these exploring memories. For me it was agate, jasper etc.. but it was really wonderful, and i wish id done more. Dont quit as long as your body allows you to keep going!

One of my favorite things is the metallic, tink, tink sounds of the pickers going up your snuffer bottle nozzle! It's exciting every time I hear it. I can't wait to snipe for my first time! Spring cannot come quick enough! I am in the USA Tennessee. We are almost frozen solid due to a historical snow and ice storm of January 24, 2026. Thanks Levi!!😊
