Anyone who's declared mentally insane with such crimes shouldn't ever be able to walk the streets ever.

I have to say, out of the many true crime shows I've done, the crew on this one were the most on-point ever. They really knew what they were doing in terms of the history and not just making yet another programme. They asked all of us some really good questions.

Guy's a real genius, his chemistry skills failed him and then he goes and confess to more murder.

This actor deserves a raise. He really nails a psychopath character.

I am sure that when I was a child, in the early 1950's, he was always referred to as "George Haigh,  the acid bath murderer".  I assume he never actually used his first given name, because John sounded more "common" than George (the King's name).

I can't be the only one who loves the narrator's voice, it just fits so well. And the actor playing John is amazing, looked just as good too

I think John had been positively itching to brag about what he'd done, and although this was incredibly useful from the point of view of the investigators, the fact that he also must have been really getting off on telling his story must have added to the horror of it.

This series has the best acting of all true crime shows

This guy was proud of the horrible things he had done and really thought he was special. So much smarter and braver and such...yuck. he had no friends, just marks. He also seems to think that just because he didnt terrorize or torture or torment his victims, he is not a monster..

Actors were brilliant especially the man playing the serial killer!!!👏🏻 Love this documentary

Getting rid of the body shows he knew it was wrong.

The actor playing Hague is so excellent that I actually felt nauseous when he talked about the murders. I have little doubt that some of his words are actually taken from his interview - like that he is a kind person and was never cruel to anyone. Total psychopath. 😳

How gruesome 😩
I accidentally started watching this episode, and now I'm hooked on this series!

Haigh was totally immoral and no doubt would have continued his killing ways to feed his lust for money.
This “Murder Maps” series is very well done. Tfs.

I’m just baffled that they ever let these people out of prison.

Man....that actor playing Hague is gooooood.

Convicted in July. Hanging from the gallows in August.  They didn't wait around on Death Row in those days!

The face on the actor when he said "I took it from his house"  (just giggled at it I'm sorry, I know this is a very serious, but I couldn't help it) and the way he portrays this killer is fantastic!

This was both a fascinating story but also fascinating production. Every line form the narrator, actors and panel members was riveting; all the facts presented in logical order; the acting top shelf…so my question is why don’t more people watch and like this video? It blows every crime documentary I’ve seen out of the water, both online and on screen…this channel is seriously underrated. YouTube is broken. Definitely worth a sub, goodbye early nights and sleep.

Edit: grammatical

How can anyone be so cruel to others I just can’t imagine.
