Step inside one of the most ambitious DIY builds ever attempted—a fully handmade SU-35 jet-inspired boat, crafted completely from scratch and engineered to look and feel like a real fighter jet gliding across the water. In this start-to-finish project, the creator transforms sheets of Fomex plastic, fiberglass, resin, gel coat, steel components, and two restored Kawasaki engines into a striking, high-speed watercraft modeled after the legendary SU-35 multirole fighter.

Granted, the builder of this boat didn't need to apply any high-precision machining to this project but he demonstrates the need for conceptualized planning and every stage of this build must have been planned well before he began, no doubt about it.
The sped-up timing of the video kind of implies that the job was effortless. But this is an expert-level project that requires advanced talent and is much more involved than it appears.
I was very impressed with the workmanship and when I consider how they even had to properly position and plan the camera work all through the project, well, it's just one hell of an accomplishment in art, craftmanship, and logistics.
I'd like to see a bit more footage of the boat in action, (maneuvers and speed statistics, etc.)
GREAT JOB!
