Planning a one-month stay in Chiang Mai?
Accommodation is usually the first big question — and during peak season, short-term rental prices can jump dramatically, especially on Airbnb. In this video, we skipped the expensive short-term condos and hotels and went looking for places that are actually designed for monthly stays.
We personally visited and compared 4 monthly-stay options in Chiang Mai:
📍 PT Residence
Great location right in the Nimman area.
📍 Common Living
Convenient for both Nimman and Santitham, with several room types including larger options for longer stays.
📍 Green Hill Place
Close to MAYA Mall, with a swimming pool, gym and larger rooms that can work well for families.
📍 Smith Residence
Walking distance to the Old City, with a rooftop pool, gym and weekly cleaning service.
These are not luxury hotels. We were looking for something much more practical:
“If we were actually staying in Chiang Mai for a month, would this place be good enough to live in?”
We checked the rooms, locations, facilities, monthly rent and additional costs so you can get a better idea of what a real one-month stay in Chiang Mai can look like.
