October brings changes to your pension: the actual day Social Security pays you (not the day you see it in your bank statement), the payment dates for each bank in October (this month the 24th falls on a Saturday and the 25th on a Sunday), the current minimum, maximum, and average pension amounts, when the November bonus payment arrives, and how much your pension could increase in January 2027 with the September CPI (4.9%) just published by the INE (National Institute of Statistics).

And finally, the catch with the minimum pension supplement: a one-month deadline that, if missed, could cost you your entire year's pension.

👇 Tell me in the comments what day your bank deposits your October pension: this way we can help others who use the same bank.
