In this talk, Father Oswaldo Agudelo makes it clear that for those who dedicate themselves to serving God authentically, the path will include difficulties and suffering, which are not punishments, but rather tests to strengthen faith and demonstrate personal worth. In summary, these are some key points that every Catholic should understand:
✔️ Trials as a path of faith: This phrase serves as both a warning and advice for Christians, indicating that serving God is not without difficulties, but rather that these are part of the process of spiritual growth.
✔️ Suffering as a test of courage: Suffering and challenges are not meant to punish, but to strengthen faith, just as fire tests the purity of gold.
✔️ The importance of perseverance: Those who seek to serve God must keep their hearts steadfast, be courageous in the face of tribulations, and cling to the Lord, since disillusionment stems from unfaithfulness, and courage is demonstrated in adversity.
✔️ Reward for faithfulness:
Those who honor and trust in the Lord in the midst of trials will not be disappointed, but will receive the reward of eternal happiness and God's love.
