Nothing like a finely read graveyard tale 💀

I feel guilty for not having commented before now. I honestly can't sleep without HB. Thank You.

That's what we want.
'Sanity' and 'Experience' rolls all round and back to the club!

Great Story Ian. Never heard this one. Always love what you and Jennifer bring to us.

28:24 "Good cripes!"
29:08 "But cripes almighty..."

I love the way people talked back in the day.  These stories give us a snapshot of how people from our past talked and conversed.

This is an amazing story and narration.  Wow.  This one is good.

Thanks for bringing this to us.

I guess we all fall fodder to the maggots sooner or later

Absolutely love this story. Well narrated!

Absolutely brilliant story, I must be honest though, I think if you read a shopping list it would be great!
Thank you.

You done done hit agin. I wokened up at just shy of 3 am cause I was cold (Fitting. ain't it?), heard your voice and I was hooked agin.

This story was a just beginni' and I had to listen to the whole thing!

Even got up for tea and toast, fluffed my pillows for sittin'
and loved ever dang second.

In the actual fact, I thought I was
a' listenin to a Jack London story I didn't know nothin about.  Well, I swan, if'n hit wast'nt another o'them Jasper tellins.

I declair, I cain't never pass one o'them by.

They's days I'm late gettin' to my chores on account of not wantin' to lose my signals if'n I take this thang away from the onliest table hit will play from.

This'n were a good'un. Swear to heaven, I smiled through the scary parts on account o you bein so perfect atbyhe actin all the parts. I can pitcher the whole scene right in my head frommthe sounds you use. I pure dee love me some good sound design.

I git down cause groceries are so high, but when you're tellin stories I ferget all that mess and feel like wonders won't never cease (even if we are a'livin in the last days).

I swear I ain't never heared the like of all them voices you do. I think they's a whole lot o folks helpin you but you say not and I believe you. Most folks are lazy, shiftless, triflin', no account lyin' good fer nothin' seems like since that Covid done ruint the world, exceptin us.

It's really Killermarquis. Don't know why I'm channeling my Aunt Wanda Lee. Great job as always.❤

The Virgin Warren vs the Chad Bourne

Love this tale, thanks guys ❤

I can't help but think this was a species pushed into hiding, eating on "leftovers" but still prefer fresh victuals like any carnivore.

Many thanks Ian

Outstanding thanks as always Ian 👍👍👍👍 😎

Old school Ghoul... 😎

The Ghouls Gone Wild Incident.

Kudos to the narrator and author 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Loved it! I hope "ghoul horror" becomes a series!

Fabulous, just fabulous!

I am “torn” as to how I should feel towards ghouls.  After all, Pickman has become a kind of imaginary pal to me, and he is certainly a ghoul of some import in the Dream Cycle.  And Randolph Carter managed to make alliances with ghouls, perhaps not as easily as he did with Cats- for, a ghoul is…a GHOUL.

Fine stuff, Ian! I’ve been fascinated by Lovecraft’s variety of ghouls ever since first reading PICKMAN’S MODEL, and imagining the toxic imagery that clung to those cursed canvases.
