Board Games for One

One of my first loves in Board Gaming is campaign board games. I love the stories, the exploration, leveling up, and character development. But! I just don't have the time to finish them all. In this video, sponsored by ‪@CapeFearGames‬ I'll share my favorite campaign tabletop games that I haven't finished, but can't wait to complete.

This is a great list. Thanks. I am just about to jump into Etherfields solo. And want to pick up Eila and Wonderbook. Both look great and gorgeous. I love stories and campaigns.

Stuffed Fables is a good campaign game that's family friendly if you haven't played it there's an expansion for it as well.

Thank you for sharing. Take care!

Newdale looks super interesting. Thanks!

I would add Arydia. Though I’ve only been through the first chapter, it’s one of the best campaign style games I have played.

Dragon Eclipse is either my favorite or second favorite campaign game that I've played and finished (up there with Fateforge - an absolute gem of a game if you've not played it). Absolutely loved it and will be backing the new content that comes to Gamefound later this year.

Totally off-topic, but your reviews are straight-up ASMR – that voice is silky smooth. Bet you crush Buble at karaoke night!

Great list and good explanations, id just say there’s a few too many spoilers in there for my liking :)

Hi. A question about Iss Vangaurd. Is there a win / loss condition? or is it just about the journey. For example, Arkham Horror LCG or Hoplomachus Victorum have win loss conditons. That stress adds stakes and keep the games interesting. Thanks

oooo just wait with eila. Since no one asked, my #1 'i need to finish this someday' campaign game is Tidal Blades 2. Kinfire Chronicles has been a recent arrival and contender for that as well that i was sure i was going to zoom through but haven't touched since I first took it off the table.

big ups eila and something shiny. just beat it with my gf (for the 2nd time, so we could get the better ending) i think i will be chasing another game like this for the rest of my life lol

My campaign backlog is getting silly. 😅 Yet I have a few more still heading my way.

Great recommendations. A bit frustrating that you don't write the names of the board games upfront. I appreciate the categorisation in themes, but maybe add the names in a comment or the description. Listening to what you are saying and then having to guess the spelling of the game when you don't even show the complete box(Etherfields) cover is incredibly painful.

I've almost gotten Newdale so many times... guess I just need to go for it! Not that I need another campaign game but not that I don't either.

Hello, hope you are well. Does Mother of Frankenstein play solo? I have just got Emerald Flame I love Post Curious games. Eila was great I have finished that one. I have worked hard to finish my campaigns this year but I have a small pile to start: 😂 me and my husband have been playing Ticket to Ride Legacy for a very very long time though.
