Edit: Yes, I know, Rush is Canadian, not American. My mistake honestly. No need to post more comments correcting that.

A massive amount of work went into this video so any type of support means a lot me :)

Also, this video is long, but the runtime is inflated a lot by me putting a few full song runs in the video. The choice is yours if you want to watch them fully, but you can also just skip around and watch clips. I wanted the full songs to be available though for the people that wanted to see.

Lastly, I wanted to give an update on some future projects:
-I finally have a good idea for a shorter video (for my standards anyway), so my next absence shouldnt be long at all. I hope to be done with it next month.
-i’ve also made decent progress on the Trials ninja video I teased in my previous vid, but I definitely don’t expect that video to be done anytime soon given how difficult it is. I’m considering streaming some black belt attempts on my channel though, so if I can figure out how to set up a livestream, I might give that a try!
-CoD Platinum series is on hold for now as I’m currently more interested in other games, but it will definitely be back at some point.

The drummer for avenged is considered one of the best drummers in metal and rock history so I’m glad they made the game reflect the difficulty

I like to imagine this is secretly intended to be a Slayer audition video.

OMG I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER UPLOAD!! Archivist is the most underrated content creator ever

Looking forward to watching this one! I was a massive guitar hero fan in the late 2000’s and ended up getting every platinum for each guitar hero game as they came out. I remember how brutal these platinums were so props to you!

Van Halen Trophies... 💀

Seriously impressed with your dedication. I used to play a lot of Rock Band (3, Beatles, and 4) and progressed from the 3-note beginner stuff, up to being able to do most songs on Expert, but I could never get the hang of any bit that required holding three notes at the same time and I could never do HOPO notes properly, I always just strummed them like regular notes.
Your video has made me want to dig out my old 360/XB1 and give the old Rock Band games a go. I lost the drum set ages ago, but I still have two guitars and a microphone that I believe still work.

This video is amazing. Congrats on the absolutely insane achievements. I hope YouTube doesn't pull any copyright shenanigans to rob people of this masterpiece.

Your story about the drums really resonated with me, because that is the EXACT same thing that happened to me, but with Rock Band 2 drums. I remember gold staring my first song on that game and thinking to myself "wait, could I actually play the drums?". It sent me down a rabbit hole that I am forever grateful for going down, as playing the drums changed the course of my entire life. Makes me happy to hear that someone else had a very similar experience with a fake drum kit :)

Great video, always get super happy when you upload!

The fact you found a working drum kit without any sensitivity issues is an achievement in itself. I've spent the past decade trying to get one myself, and I got so fed up I just bought an e-kit and hooked it up to my PS3 with a midi adapter.

Bro I found the same thing, I didn’t play for like 2 years maybe more and when I came back I was way better then I ever have been

I loved the story of how GH turned into a real life thing, was really cool seeing someone implement something from a video game into real life, fire video as always ❤❤❤

You know it's a good day when Archivist uploads a video.

It's amazing to hear that the franchise got you to play drums for real, absolute W!
Excited to see what else you are working on and can't wait for that inevitable BB clear in Trials. :)

I just couldn't help but have a big smile when you started to talk about heel up, I knew the answer as soon as you started introducing the question, haha. Brings me back muscle memory that never went away it seems like.

W video as always! I dont think people realize how much full-body coordination it requires to play drums. You literally have to become a musician to pull this off, huge congrats 👏🏼
It's a shame that there is only 1 obtainable platinum in the series and that it's locked behind PS3 and hundreds of dollars in peripherals because it looks so much fun!

Love that you used the gh2 cover of laid to rest, I can recognise those horrendous vocals anywhere

Genuinely am incredible video. Guitar hero smash hits was a childhood classic of mine. And seeing these extremely difficult trophies even attempted by a human is incredible.

Raining blood on drums was simply god like. Kudos to you my dude.

What an incredible journey this video was, I’m a musician/guitarist and a trophy hunter myself so I loved every part of it. This year has been the worst start of a year for me with extreme amount of stress and anxiety in every part of my life right now, but this video really made it a lot better so thank you so much ❤

I’m always to shy to comment on videos, but I made it a goal for myself to not be afraid to talk to new people. I started watching your first video when it came out and I’ve been hooked ever since with your style of videos. I’m looking forward to see your future videos as always.

You're an absolute MANIAC! Absolutely love this video dude. Huge congrats!
