Joshua is so goated bro🙏😭

boxing is such a art bro

I love coming here because I learn something from every video and it makes watching the fights more enjoyable.

Can you do a breakdown on why van and topuria have been so successful with their boxing heavy styles but jdm has faced adversity with it in his last 2 fights? I have some idea but would really love your insight in this, thanks!

JV is Goated. He brings that pro boxing style. volume, ring generalship, winning round after round piecing dudes up.

This came out better than I expected.

Didn't really appreciate boxing in mma as much until I watched this video

That meme of Jamahl Hill at 01:40 was peak

This deserves a lot of views. Many ufc fans who only watch overrated devisons and never watch flyweight devision judge Van on his look, his samll body. But he is really a beast, not galzing

Crazy how our little brother, out of everyone is the one/one of the fighters who relight the fire in the UFC Flyweight division

THE VAN THAT CAN!!!

He has that heel toe stance insane to see in mma

Still young as well he will only get better

Let's go Joshua Van!

his jabs are beautiful to watch, excellent timing

van one of my favorites right now his style is sick

Van actually does the opposite of fundamental footwork closing the distance.

He brings his rear foot forward first before stepping out with his lead foot. This allows him to cover greater distance with his offense ready, break rhythm with his entries as he wants, and disguise distance.

The cons are that you're gathering your feet as you step your rear foot closer.

We've seen this in high level boxing with Canelo, Tank, and so on.

Very interesting how generally speaking most of the best boxers in mma have below average reach for their division (Ilia, Van, Aspinall, Yan), maybe it has to do with the fact that shorter arms allow them to punch more freely because they can recover their arms quicker to defend against takedowns.

Also, because shorter armed fighters have a natural combination punching advantage due to faster punch recovery, maybe because of smaller gloves, combination punching is much more effective because even lower power punches do more damage, so volume punching adds up faster than in traditional boxing, where more power per punch is required or you risk getting counter punched.

He got good timing on his shots

Would be cool if you do update video of Joshua Van
