After a farm settlement broadcast on shortwave radio offered safety, Ray loaded his truck, collected Glenn's family, and drove north through infected streets. He’s in his own home for months in the basement. Why does no one in these situations ever drag a mattress downstairs. You live in Ohio and you don’t know how cold it’s going to get. Don’t you own winter clothes, blankets, gloves etc…you need to risk using the fireplace? Of course he lives in the most chill zombie area in the world. There’s no reason to leave.

Really need to be consistent on the food. First he says he has three years, then it is only a few months. Then he has 9 bottles of propane and each last an hour for cooking. In three months he has only used one and he uses the stove a half hour a day. Those kinds of inconsistencies drive me crazy. But the overall b9nes of the story was pretty good.

Risk of infection … hiarchy , forced labor , as a woman possibly forced into sexual servitude …. NOPE ! I’ll stay put until every last can of beans is gone !

Creator, see, I am a very avid reader and listener. On stories that I listen while working, it is the details that I tune in for the immersion. Now, our protag here is supposed to have 1.8 million calories worth of food. That is 1,000 days for 1,800 calories or 818 days if you actually want to live at 2,200 calories.

Now, as I heard in 1:30:33, it is about day 90 of the outbreak. At 90 days consuming 1,800 calories, that is 162,000 calories. Now, protag is saying he only had 70 days of food reserves left. That means that in just 90 days, OP was able to eat 1.638 million calories. Every single day, he ate a total of 18,200 calories per day. Protag also said he was rationing his meals. So, he eats like a king in an apocalypse?

Are you even proofreading your own AI story? This takes away the immersion from your story. It makes it stupid. You can't feel tension when you realize your protag is eating comfortably, like a pig, in a dire situation. It's idiotic, really.

A cold snap in ohio without any kind of heater gets colder than just 40 degrees. My step dad grew up with ice on the inside of his windows and they even had a wood stove burning at the time and they werent even in the coldest areas.
