Welcome to South Dakota! That’s where I do all my off roading. Black hills are awesome.

I missed you man, good to see you back

46k??? Damn.

Just seems like they are creating a solution that a traditional transmission with gears could solve without needing nearly as much research… I mean Honda does it and it works great

Glad they are still trying to move forward. I’m sure they thought about other trans and configurations. Actual gears are ok but not faster and it needs more computer work to make it work. Just because Honda does it doesn’t mean it’s best for all conditions.

I can see the rpm is lower than other sxs at 30mph which indeed make's it more quite.

I feel like transmissions that can both "CVT" or run lower RPM when wanted is the next big thing for ATVs/sxs's. Using air to do what was done here seem like a poor choice. I predict these will be problematic.

A buddy has an expedition. It is awesome. Every option gets you up to about $80k. Its insane. That being said im looking at the cfmoto x10 for the power and suspension

I feel like the cover to get to the compressor could be far easier to remove . Why would they make an access panel like this so hard to take off???? 😂

A planetary gear set sounds like the better option here.

So we want SxS's to be quieter but can't tolerate the lack of sound from an EV?
I'm confused...

@craigr6763 3 weeks ago

You totally ruined that side panel it slides forward!

@wafive 3 weeks ago

Can you get a Suzuki Jimny in the States? Even if you could only use it off road, It would have to be better than these SxS's..

Air compartment slides forward

@nathaniellyon4855 30 minutes ago

I am guessing aftermarket clutches are a no go in this machine?

Yay Nathan!

Still a CVT. Get rid of that and it fixes a lot of problems.

@AaronB1979 10 days ago

Geez dude, just slide compressor panel towards the front. Not just rip it off. So yes, you were breaking it.

I think he tried to explain that they replaced the tried and proven clutch springs with some complicated pneumatic adjuster system? Definitely not TFL's best video..
