The family lecture series from the parenting magazine CHIPS journal https://chips-journal.ru offers a recording of a lecture by Katerina Murashova for free access.
The child asks to play with them, but the mother is bored; she's more interested in scrolling through social media than running around the playground or making clay. She feels both guilty and irritated. But isn't it possible to just ask sternly, "Is your hat on?" and "How are things at school?"? You can simply lie around, run, and fool around, chat without feeling bored, viewing the child as an interesting conversationalist and playmate, not as a little soldier who needs constant restraint and control.
Katerina Murashova is a family and developmental psychologist (practitioner), writer, and teacher. She was born and lives in Leningrad-St. Petersburg. Her first education is in embryology. She worked at Leningrad State University and went on scientific expeditions throughout the Soviet Union. Her second degree was as a developmental psychologist (also from Leningrad State University), later specializing in medical, adolescent, and family psychology. She is a member of the Writers' Union. She writes adventure books for children, popular science books for parents, and historical adventure novels for both.
