“How did they build it?”
“They just took their time, they had no distractions, just get it done.”

The first salesman actually offered him beer in case you guys missed it

I’m not going to lie, the only reason I would go there is so I can sit at Pizza Hut and stare out at the pyramids then straight home.

This was the first episode they actually filmed, even though it wasn't the first episode shown in the series -

Best quote I heard about the pyramids was from an old bloke I looked after who had been in the SAS and had visited on route to Palestine during the mandate. "Pyramids? F*ckin pissed on 'em"

"you put words in me mouth along with other things" lmfao Karl's timing is epic

You corrected yourself, Spence (like i know ya)...... the audio on that was shite. Sort it out, the algorithms are happy anyway I know 😁.

There's a two hour time difference between London and Cairo (ahead of London) and it's approximately a 5 hour flight.

I love how you watch Karl pilkington. 🙂. It's very funny but you need to understand his unwillingness to take part in these things to really appreciate him

Finally !!! Been waiting ages for this. Please fire through the rest because o can’t wait to laugh at season 2. It’s even funnier.

the scene where he stope for every street seller proves exactly why he says he gives so much to charity. He can't walk away for his own good.

Those Pyramids of Giza are an amazing feat of human construction you would understand if you seen the inside Chambers of granite yet Karl ain't impressed with the old lumps of stone piled on top of eachother 😂😂

'Have they been back since' ? Pyramids are a truly bizarre experience, right on the edge of Cairo, looking out over desert one way and blocks of flats the other ways. Go on a Friday, when the local kids are climbing all over them and being chased away by the guards.

To be fear, he would eat a knob at night..

Great to see you getting back to An Idiot Abroad guys. Keep the Karl stuff coming! The Ricky Gervais Show too please.

Glad to see I wasn't alone in cracking up at that weird Extra Terrestrial believer dude doing those "weeeeeeooooowwaaaeeeowwww" sounds 😆

You can get alcohol in Egypt, the citizens may not drink themselves, it's mainly for tourists and located around the touristy spots. Wine in Egypt is pretty good.
