This movie will stay with me for a very long time. Important thoughts about the human condition, treated with great compassion and pathos. There should have been two Oscars. Thank you to everyone associated with this gem of a film.

loved this movie....exceptionally done....acting was impeccable...I will watch it over and over.... it is a classic

i think that in this particular movie, Janet McTeer is the real star, the one that makes it shine.

They were gracious to this man. No filter. You could see that the fire in their eyes as they laughed off his horrible questions.

Something that struck me deep at the root of my soul is the moment when Albert Nobbs, faced with the revelatory encounter with Hubert, realises that she is not alone in all her suffering in the world, and that others - comparable to her - allow themselves more leeway, courage, possibilities in dealing with it. This is eye-opening and means healing.
On the other hand, it is wonderful how the movie takes up life and its fate, and how the difference between Albert and Hubert later comes to the fore. The statement that we are all unique, even if we are defined as an extreme minority in a corner, does the story particularly well at this point.
This movie, a late discovery for me, is already one of my favourites.

This was such a long and sad film. Poor Albert Nobbs- but I have to say the acting was SUPERB!

Both Mrs Close and Mrs McTeer what fine collaboration, I loved this film,, I noticed that public arround me were ipnotized

Glenn Close is such a graceful, beautiful, delightful woman to watch on screen. I adore her expression, diction, and observations. Quite a fan here.
