Thank you for keeping us all up to date with this great construction project.

What impresses me is that the traffic flows freely with few delays. This is a monster construction project and I could not have believed how interesting you have made it over the past months. Thanks again :-)

Superb content as always — miles ahead of the other amateurs on youtube just drifting over with no commentary. Yours actually updates on progress and what has been happening across the project!

Superb extra video covering Caxton and other parts of the scheme east of Black Cat - many thanks WN for preparing and sharing! Build up of the new embankments at Caxton is very evident. With regards to Toseland Rd overbridge - I expect that the old road alignment is probably kept to allow farmers to continue to access their fields next to the new A428 alignment. At Eltisley - the new roundabouts look like they have passive provision for potential future entry and exit slip roads onto and off the A428 which is interesting. Progress at Eltisley looks to be almost complete with the roads already in use and new surfacing partially laid on one half of the A428 dual carriageway. The Cambridge Rd junction looks to be very near completion as they're laying alot of the new road surfacing on the slip roads and dual carriageway with lighting columns, crash barriers and kerbing all already in place. Many thanks again - looking forward to the next Black Cat update

Excellent update …….. your videos show the sheer scale of this scheme. Amazing work going on, will change a lot of peoples lives I would say 👍🏼😎🚗

I used to love stopping at a Little Chef. Sadly all you get now days are coffee outlets or crappy McDonald’s.

Great update it's good to see the progress the other end of the project.

I used to live nearby but haven't visited the area in years. I wouldn't recognize it now!

Great to see the tarmac being put on.

At 8:51 yes, there are a pair of maintenance/emergency access roads shown on the scheme plans, the sort of road they have installed on recent schemes like the A1/A14 junction near Huntingdon.  They have a ‘no motor vehicles’ sign and the ‘authorised vehicles only’ text box.   I think they’ll maybe have gates at the A421 end.

Thank you for taking the time to present this part of the scheme.  That sun is only going to become more of a problem as it gets lower in the sky and if it's not shining it will probably be wet, windy or both!

Great thanks for posting

Usually the McD would be half full early one, not so now!

Thank you.

I wish you’d add some red arrow markers, as we don’t always know which bit you’re talking about.

Great videos. You really need to keep your eyes peeled at the new badly signposted roundabouts as your sat nav will lose the plot due to the new layout.

Hi,
Would be useful to state which direction of travel the dual carriageways/ mm ain roads are as well as direction to Black Cat & distance. For us non-locals ;-)

Did take a guess from some shadows on orientation, but no clue as to where we were.
