1. In the Animation Blueprint event graph, drag out of the movement component and search for "velocity".
2. Right click on the yellow dot and select "split struct pin"
3. From the "Z" drag out and select the top option "promote to variable". This checks whether your player is going up or down.
4. In the transition rules, we're just going to use our ZVelocity.
Idle/Walk/Run --> Jumping: ZVelocity > 0
Jumping --> Idle/Walk/Run: ZVelocity == 0
Jumping --> Falling: ZVelocity < 0
Falling --> Idle/Walk/Run: ZVelocity == 0
Idle/Walk/Run --> Falling: ZVelocity <0
