Dean Delray

Today my friend Josh Homme returns to the show to talk about
the incredible Alive In The Catacombs tour, our love of Bon Scott and AC/DC and all things ART.

If you have not seen the Catacombs performance it's available now on YouTube and also on a new episode of Austin City Limits.

Thanks for Tuning in.

So glad I could finally sit down to listen. This is by far THE interview about the Catacombs! I loved hearing how they worked with the orchestra, how they came up with the three acts, the lights, the tour itself... such a great conversation. Thank you for this, Dean.

I was having an absolute shit day and I went for a drive earlier to clear my head and I stopped by a gas station to take a piss and I refreshed my podcast app and this episode popped up and I instantly got a smile on my face and gave out an audible “fuck yeah!”
Your pod is one of my favorites, your comedy is one of my favorites and Josh has been one of my favorites for the past 25+ years.
Cheers, Dean. And thank you.

“It’s interesting to listen to this. In my view, The Doors exist more through their myth than through genuine artistic depth. A young death and music tied to its era — that’s the core of their legacy.
But Josh and QOTSA operate on an entirely different musical level, one that many so‑called ‘legends’ objectively never reach. The depth of QOTSA’s music is something most people — both inside and outside the rock bubble — aren’t even aware of. The Catacombs Tour is yet another milestone.”
Sorry to say that as clear..😅🫣..Love from Germany and France..😍 p.s. the Paris Show was just awesome..
