Come along with Michou & His Lordship for Part 2 of our trip along the beautiful Durham coast.

This time, though, we get rather a shock! 😲

Our first beach certainly isn't what we were expecting. Years of coal mining left their mark here, with waste from the local collieries once being tipped and washed out along the coastline. Work is being done to restore and clean up the area, but nature has quite a job on its hands.

Then we head along the coast to Seaham, with its lovely harbour and beach — and, of course, we couldn't visit without stopping to see the incredible Tommy statue. ❤️

It turns into a fascinating day of contrasts: industrial history, changing coastlines, beautiful scenery and a little bit of Michou & His Lordship along the way!
