Robbie Keane & Hugo Lloris we’re top deadline day signings. Robbie dragged us to Europa League football, alongside forming a partnership with Berbatov to win the Carling cup beating both Arsenal & Chelsea on that run🫡. Prior to his injury in 2020 Hugo was an Elite GK.

Mascherano played 5 PL games for West Ham and was a massive flop for them!! Dumping Cole Palmer for him is peak comedy (and I'm an LFC man).

Mascherano joined West Ham in August 2006, and high tailed it to Liverpool in January 2007. He did nothing at West Ham, who were single handedly kept up by Carlos Tevez.

Ronaldo wasn't a deadline day signing when he originally joined Man Utd. He was when he re-joined in 2021, and had a decent first season back, but got the axe during the second season.

Akanji got a lil too much disrespect lol. A week in week out starter in a treble winning side, and the following season title winning side. Played more than the likes of Ruben Dias, Bernado Silva, Kyle Walker, Stones, Foden etc in that treble season. Arteta being put in the 10 over him is insanity 😂

How has Mascherano made this list, he joined in the summer, made 5 prem appearances and was sub to Hayden Mullins. He joined Liverpool in the January.

Cristiano is not the original Sporting signing, but rather his move from Juventus, like the thumbnail suggest. That takes him from one of the best to one of the worst signings, as Man Utd went from 2nd to 7th and OGS has basically said the signing ruined their momentum. Then he had the strop and the Piers Morgan interview. Disastrous signing.

Mascherano played almost nothing for West Ham, so he was a pretty terrible signing too. Cost the club a lot of money due to Sheffield United complaints too.

Why is Özil definitely a better signing than Auba? That's mad.

@565656gooner 1 month ago

Tevez and Mascherano were mad signings but im old enough to remember there wasnt huge hype around it. They were relatively unknown in Europe... they signed from Corinthians...

You two are blinded by the players they became. At the time no one expected them to do much

The delusion from Turkish in this video. Ozil 6, Arteta 10 but Akanji in the bin? I used to think he had standards but the past 12-18 months have shown Turkish is another happy clapper who gets carried away.

The concepts for these videos are good but the execution is always terrible. The rankings are always all over the place. Some of the timelines and impact was wrong in the case of Ronaldo and Mascherano. You need to have a criteria and stick to it.
