In the original show, bloom always wore blue to make her red hair stand out. Bloom wearing red for every. goddamn. occasion. in this show honestly drowns out the fierceness and boldness of her red hair.

tf Netflix I just wanted 2000's fairies with magical powers that glow

Let’s be honest at this point Netflix only uses famous past shows as a base to bait people into watching their typical overdone and unoriginal gritty school series

Can we also talk about how drab, and dark they made the environment? Like this is meant to be a fantasy world, not Riverdale 💀

Their stylist is same person who styled characters of Desperate housewives series long a ago.
So yeah. This is why girls are dress up like middle age women

Edit: Desperate housewives not Real housewives lol

They made aisha a mammy caricature, they discarded flora and replaced her with her white cousin. And, they didn't even try to justify the fact that Musa is also white washed.

The producers really thought that the fans want something more mature and darker just because we are already adults, and its like no we do not want that... we want the bright colors, glitter, magic and friendship power of the original animated series. Not a regurgitated version of Teen Wolf

When a cartoon from the early 2000s has far more diversity than it's 2020 remake live action version

aisha was a free sprit who literally didn’t care abt rules and was always defying the odds and surprising ppl with her natural ability for everything but in the live action they literally just made aisha the mammy sterotype of black women that has to mother and care for the white characters and is so strict with rules😭
Edit: also can we talk abt how aisha was a whole princess in the original but they took that out cause i guess a teachers pet was a more interesting storyline...?

Can we end the trend of taking kids shows and turning them into "edgy" high school dramas.

Finally someone who wants Winx cast to look idealistically beautiful.
They ain’t human. They are fairies
And yes. I would love to see actresses that looks ethereal beauty.

This show was like a hate crime against fashion.

"They dress like women in their fifties"

Oh thank god someone pointed it out, I had a glimpse of the outfits from the netflix preview, and was immediately turned away from it. They literally dress like my aunts (late fourties). And the outfits made them look older than the age they were supposed to represent.

Even floras two blonde streaks of her hair framing her face is literally a huge trend right now. I’m so pissed with how they dropped the ball so badly with the fashion.

Bloom:
-Is always dressed in red
-Hates her parents
-Is a red head
-Is a former arsonist who set her family’s house on fire
-Is friends with the token black character
-Has a floral themed name

Netflix is really out here trying to make Bloom into Cheryl Blossom

Bloom- white
Stella- white
Flora- Hispanic
Musa - Asian
Aisha- African

I REFUSE to call this a winx club adaptation, can we all just collectively start calling it like riverdale fairies or smt?

I love how they casted a black girl for diversity and then cancelled out said diversity by giving her a stereotypical mammy character.

No but the idea of having an interracial magical fairy show with many different types of fashion and displaying different cultures but the characters are all close friends literally makes me cry😭 like was that so hard???

this girl HAS to take control over netflix.
THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN ASTRONOMICALLY BETTER
