It took me a while to really understand this album. It’s waaaaay more brutal and chaotic than their follow up releases, but it’s actually turned into my favorite because of that factor. There are some really REALLY interesting notational choices buried in the blasting and bombast.

I loved this album at the first listen. It is the best Car Bomb album. I had it when it was new. "His Eyes" is killer!

Found your channel by being a Car Bomb fanboy.

I don't even know where to start, but as a guitarist loving extreme metal/mathcore this band is a HUGE inspiration to me.
Greg Kubacki is not only a underrated musician but a goddamn wizard.

Your reaction videos are a pleasure to watch, I subbed.

Seeing these guys open for Between the Buried and Me in March, in Austin TX. Cannot wait. Check out their newer stuff from their album "Meta" too if you get a chance. The production is off the charts.

This is video is such a gem, watching you experience what we all did and trying so hard to understand it all, math bands are a whole new world all together, hope you go deeper into it :)

Oh also! Check out the song “Bracket”, not included on the typical releases of this album. It’s a banger for sure, and I wish it would have been on the US release!

Somehow, Car Bomb has been able to make each successive album starting from Centralia both better and worse. I mean this in as nice a way possible. Centralia was a masterpiece from the very beginning; to say that they lost their edge is both completely understandable and a compliment, while still feeling a bit disappointing.

I remember when W^W introducing more clean sections and general cohesion felt like a letdown to my teenage brain, while still being one of the best ' '-core albums in the space. Following up Centralia is a massive ask even now, nigh-impossible tbh. Regardless, them getting some proper recognition over time has been really cathartic. Similar to Igorrr being so much more of a tour de force recently, but Brutal Swing still being my favorite track he's put out.
