In Denmark we have a saying: The more you disagree with someone the nicer you should talk to them

The contrast of the click bait thumbnail and the nuanced insightful message is incredibly ironic.

"Listen like you might be wrong" is probably the most useful and profound advice I've ever heard.

He got a standing ovation from the crowd at the end. He did that speech from memory.

"Peace through understanding can withstand conflict. Peace through agreement can only last as long as everyone keeps agreeing."
What a profound insight!

Our future doesn't look so bleak with young people like him

Amazing that this young man who hasn't even been out in the world but a short time is speaking with such common sense and compassion. And then there's the group in Washington D.C. who act like children. No morals, no manners, no respect for their fellow man. I'm 75 and I've watched this video a few times. He's got my vote.

You are the future young man. Articulate, compassionate, and intelligent. Your grandparents would be proud of the person you have become. You are a gifted speaker and leader. No doubt you will unite people.💕

Stay strong Harvard.... this too shall pass, there is a consciousness growing it might feel like polarity, its not... its awakening. This young man's presentation is that very awakening. Stay strong, As Rumi Said " Do not go back to sleep" - From Canada - we are in support of the US awakening.

Good message and a phenomenal delivery. It's truly impressive to see someone make a ten minute speech with no notes and not make one pause or search for words.

I watched my family crumble because of their lack of ability to listen. Thank you for saying this. I could never convey this to them.

Young people like you restore our faith in humanity! Thank you for your simple and profound message! On the other side of disagreement is understanding. Let’s seek to understand each other a little more every day.

This guy should and could absolutely be the president of the US. Shows more compassion, empathy, kindness and intelligence than the entire current administration combined! This is and should be the voice of America, the voice America needs to be able to heal. ❤
