Purple Moose Plays...Star Trek Captains Chair (Cadet Training Solo w/ Sisko) - review copy

Purple Moose Plays

Join me for a solo playthrough of Star Trek Captains Chair, from designers Nigel Buckle and David Turczi and WizKids, taking Benjamin Sisko through the botless cadet training mode. No review on this one as I'll back soonish with another playthrough of the AI bot based solo mode and that video will include my thoughts!

Awesome. I've gotten addicted to playing it in the evenings after work before dinner with the wife.

Captains Chair is all set up and ready to go for my first Cadet training with Picard. This video is exactly what I want to see

Thank you for doing these...I enjoy your videos playing each Captain. I watch them before I try each one, which really helps me understand their design! Hope you'll continue when the "To Boldly Go" and "Second Contact" boxes come out this year!

Loved this video. I really appreciate your pacing and clear explanation of everything from the very beginning.

Thanks for covering the game 😀

Promoting Quark as a duty officer is quite a flex. :D

89 is a good score and I think you shorted yourself a few glory (which you mentioned), so you would have been in the 90's. I think that's very good!
I got around 70 my first game, 100 for my second. Higher scores should come for both of us as we play the game more.

You didn't use Sisko's Reaction ability when you gained control of Locations.

Thanks for sharing. Great video.
Got my copy a few days ago and played Picard twice. Enjoying the game a lot.
I use dime sized plastic tokens to place on my cards instead of turning them.

31:30 I interpreted that the paid part of Jadzia ability , also is increasing the lowest track so it couldn't be used to increase Influence track in that moment...

One rules error, when you gain a card you choose, either discard it or put it on top of your deck. On top of your deck means you’ll get the card as soon as you draw, but does slow down your deck cycling.
