I saved my mother from my abusive father but it cost me my whole childhood. This song reminds me how strong i was to fight someone who was supposed to protect me

This is actually sad. Ladies listen up!! If your ever kidnapped or enslaved or being followed TELL SOMEONE and Always always always leave evidence that you were there so the cops believe you

Two weeks ago, I was at scouts and we were doing drag queen night with full make up. Anyway after a while we went outside to play hide and seek, i sprinted to the far side of the park and hid beside the road behind a tree. A passing motorbiker saw me and stopped to check that i was not in danger. Warms my heart. He was a good person.

I love how even if they knew they were out of breath they did not stop. None of them did.

I was raped as a child and still deal with the damage now 18 years later. Never give up ladies, never stop fighting

Kara Robinson from "The Girl Who Escaped" is SO strong. I saw a couple interviews with her and she told her story so well and omg, its horrible.

If you think ppl should make weapon kits for woman and girls i agree

what was really cool, the girl in the movie called girl in the basement, she revealed in a interview it was actually supposed to be really cold, she showed only because she was wearing shorts and a t shirt, it showed even if you forgot something, just run, run, don’t look back, don’t turn around, don’t slow down, keep running.

One PE class I was like, "I bet I can run around this whole gym once in maybe a minute." to my friend, and she said to do it. I started to sprint around the lap area and made it back to her within 30 seconds. 😎

I realized even as a child, I was never close to men or boys in general, only ones I actually really trust. In tag, I would always run faster if someone was chasing me or just if anyone was chasing me as a lil game in general. I feel like life is warning me.

"Nobody runs faster than a girl running for her life" is a quote I've never been able to stop thinking ab since I first saw it. It happened to me, multiple times. I have chronic pain but that couldn't stop me because if I stopped Id be de@d 😢

The feeling of dreading the sound of the garage door opening, because there's stepdad!!! No child should have to experience that. I will not subject my kids to that.

i have had to run like this before and it was in my local shopping centre, it was terrifying but the adrenaline rush from it is what kept me running despite I was completely out of breath, exhausted but once I was safe it hit me like a brick I was so lightheaded, dizzy and so shaky to the point people at the station was checking on me to ask if I was okay! thankfully it didn't last long but if I need to run I will!
