She raised her boys so well. You can just feel  the love and care for their mom. This is so heartwarming ❤️

A few years ago our vibrant neighbor was diagnosed with ALS.  We watched as he deteriorated, but for us the hardest part was watching his wife of 40 years desperately trying to get help and to learn how to help and support him.  She is now a support person for others with ALS.  Kathy is not only still beautiful, but her intelligence shines through this.  It hits the young.  Her sons are remarkable and I want to thank them for posting this video.  Kathy, I love your dress.  You look great in it.  I hope they can find a way to make this disease chronic instead of terminal.

Made me think of my mother. A grown man is always his mother's baby no matter what. You can see him become her baby while holding her. It's sad to know that ALS will take her life, but she definitely has a great outlook on life.

I don't have parents anymore (cancer killed them), I'm 42 next month, it's been a long time since I cried over something. So much strength and love combined with pain and such power in words and actions. My admiration and thanks for this post.

Gorgeous love between a Mom, her son marrying and her other sons. What a blessing to have 3 sons who seem to be such honoring men. That is a wonderful legacy for this lady it speaks beyond words of her and her husband. GOD BLESS you all, always.

My mom battled ALS for 3.5 years. It started with drop foot. It was devastating to our entire family. We were blessed to have a lot of support but nothing prepares you for that disease.

The amount of strength she has is remarkable. She's such an inspiration!

Kathy, if anyone at the wedding reception stared at you, it was because they were in awe of your beauty and strength, and the love you share with your sons. 💐💖

Been a while since I cried this hard., but damn…. First thing in the morning.

One day in urgent care as an NP, @ my VA, I saw a patient I’d never seen before. He & his wife of many yrs came in to try & find out what was going on. By my exam, he had definite neurologic symptoms that I highly suspected were ALS. I don’t have a poker face at all, & knowing myself, I excused myself & went to confer w/one of our attending docs. I burst into tears describing what was going on with him & what my neuro exam told me. She concurred & offered to go w/me to see them. In many ways I’m still ashamed that I gratefully accepted her help. I introduced her to the pt & his wife & then exited the exam room. He was referred to Neurology with essentially a STAT time frame, & he was then confirmed to have ALS. Of all the hundreds/thousands of pts I’ve seen during my career, his diagnosis was one of the worst things that happened to me. This woman is such a brave & strong woman!♥

This woman is so strong, courageous and beautiful.  Her family is her strength and is why she can handle this process.  When you are surrounded by a loving family, the hurdles are worth fighting to overcome. Your message gave myself and others, ALS is a terrible disease and to be made aware of the early signs.  I wish you comfortable days and your family the strength to carry on your love in their hearts.

Why do I watch these I just end up crying my eyes out!!

Kathy, you are still the person you were. Although your body activities are limited, your spirit and your soul live on. Your dance with your son on his wedding day has given him and his bros something to cherish all their lives. You were in that precious moment together. Blessings.
