Hi everyone 🤍

In today’s video, I’m opening my kiln just before heading off to a medieval market… and this one is FULL.

This kiln load is packed with handmade mugs, tankards, dragon pieces, and market stock — all made in the lead-up to a big weekend event. I’ve also added a running total of this kilns value on screen.

This firing was a cone 5 with a 20-minute hold, and I’m testing a range of glaze combinations including:
Amaco, Mayco, Spectrum, Coyote, Jungle Gems and more.

I’ll also be taking all of this to a medieval festival (Berserkers Medieval & Truffle Festival), so this is very much a real-time look at preparing for markets as a ceramic artist.
