Thanks Sonia! It all depends on the humidity, etc., but generally speaking 24-48 hours. When the gel is dry it will be completely clear and not tacky.

I'm disappointed that the light's reflection seems lumpy.

Why didn't you use a satin finish to begin with? I do use Dorland's wax for my watercolor paintings. Love the finish.

When buffing; you can use a clean shoe brush... easier than paper towels or cloth rag. (Suggestion)

Great video and very useful technique. Does the self leveling gel need to dry completely before you can apply the cold wax? How long would you wait before wax application?
