Why did you edit out the original video for both Platt's and Vieira's goals?

Parlour, what an underrated player !

This is the match I became an Arsenal fan

How I wish I could go back to November 97

Parlor was an engine room for Arsenal, very underrated player.

This is proper football, proper football days

I was there, can even just about see myself in the video near the front row of the north bank next to my late brother. I was 14 at the time but this is still possibly one of my favourite ever games. My bro always tried his best to take me to the big games. ❤ this vid thank you.

90's the GOLDEN AGE of football, lifestyle, music, everything!!!

Highbury was something else man...

The commentary negates the fact that actually from January '98 Arsenal went on the amazing run

My favourite Arsenal team ever. Aggression, Pace, Technique, Character and Pure Quality

Remember this match well. The premier league today can't hope to match the intensity and atmosphere in the stands from back then. What we now have is a very corporate and sanitised version of football. Also Highbury is sorely missed. The Emirates is a great arena, but it can never hope to match the character or history of Highbury. Highbury had so much character, four uniquely different stands, one being a grade 2 listed building. I look back fondly on such a stadium.

Bloody hell I'm exhausted only by watching this. The game was so intense. Winterburn telling the ref to go away even though some utd fans threw objects at him proves what an era that was.

Highbury at its best

Sir Alex Ferguson , saw an interview last night with him. Our "Sir" used the word fu'kin' at least 35 times within 7 minutes of conversation . And I only started counting when I noticed he used it that often . Too bad I 've always hated ManU, for he was a funny , funny man. Not intentionally , of course , but still , fucking funny . 😆 And it became even better after the arrival of monsieur Arsene Wenger . They became the comic duo of football. One of the many reasons why I've always loved British football. 😍

You know , I can't get enough of the football from this Era.  The players were 10 x more charismatic as that bunch overpayed multi mjllionairs who perform their circus tricks and seem to have all kind of secret help from something or someone far above our heads . At least ,  half of them seems to be praying to a footballgod of somekind. Must be some new religion . No , back to the days when football was exiting and nail-biting nerve-wracking  . And you went home after a match full of adrenaline  .Nowadays I watch a good game that I've forgotten 5 minutes later . There was less football on tv back then , but it had much more impact than nowadays . Still entertaining , absolutely , but not like then .

The invincibles were "footballistically" better, but there was no better season than this one, coming out of those years, and as others have said, English grit and French flair, the highs were unbelievable.
I know no one will read this after so long, but what the hell, some of us lived that season, and the expectation that it provided for the following Wenger years. There are so many other clubs that wish they had experienced even a tenth of our success and enjoyment, so lap it up gooners you've earned it for supporting this great club!
As for all the supporters of all the other 91 clubs in the league, big props to you. Big or small, it's relevant I know, but we all do it because we have a connection somewhere down the line. Friends, family, location, mine was friends in the playground in the 60's, maybe it's different now, but whatever it is we are all fans of one big daft game.
And it's a big traditional 92 club league that makes us all fans of the English game!

I STARTED ROOTING FOR THE ARSENAL FROM THIS SEASON!! VENGER, SEAMAN, VIEYRA, OVERMARS...

10:57 VAR would like to have a word…

06:18 if u came for Vieira's goal
