Hindi naman pagiging “anti-EV” yung pagbanggit ng cons, pagiging realistic lang. Totoo naman na maraming benefits ang EV, pero hindi rin pwedeng i-ignore yung battery degradation, warranty limits, at actual cost in the long run. Hindi porket may downside, ibig sabihin paninira na. Mas okay nga yung ganitong discussion kasi nakakatulong sa mga balak bumili na maging informed, hindi yung puro hype lang tapos magugulat sa gastos after. I disagree with some things mentioned. I think in the future, hndi na mag matter msyado yung battery range since dadami na ang charging stations. Ano nman kung ma degrade battery mo or if hndi na sya updated sa mga latest technology na mas longer range if every corner meron ng charging stations. Also yung mekaniko na mag aayos is i think ngaun lng yan, in the future hndi na mekaniko hahanapin mo kundi electrical technician na in which sobrang dali lng magrepair nyan since plug and play nlng mga parts nyan. For batteries nman, highly recyclable mga yan upto 95%, wlang tapon yan actually if magaling ka mag diy pwede mo yan gamiting solar storage  kesa i-dispose mo..kaya ngaun hbang medyo mura pa ang mga ev's samantalahin mo na kse mag mamahal yan for sure..hehe

​My SOH as of today is still at 89%! I only charge at two locations—the farm and my house. I’ve never used a Tesla Supercharger, and I don't follow any specific "charging traditions." I just plug it in when I get there, and that’s it. 😎

Yung point na 2 to 3 years need na palitan yung battery ay mali dahil ang warranty at 8 to 10 years. Also, yung quality ev ay higit sa 20 years ago buhay ng battery. Puede umabot higit 20 years.. depends sa alaga at cycle used.

Kung ako talaga tatanungin ICE na 7 seater talaga gusto ko pero since krisis ngayon at yung mga gusto kong unit is out of range pa ng budget eh parang EV nadin ang 1st choice ko due to portability at mura pa yung maliliit na unit. If I have money will go to fortuner or destinator. But in reality wigo, brio and seagull lang ang feasible sa budget. Since nka SUV na ko parang redundant na bumili ng 4-5 seaters unless EV na talagang kakaiba. I still considering Raize G as 2nd top choice next to seagull.

Pinaka concern ko talaga sa EV sa laki nang ma save ko weekly, nag bubuffet kami weekly or gala sa mall sa laki ng na save. Before P2500 per week, ngayon P500 na lang kaya may libreng 2k.

EV batteries usually come with long warranties—around 6 years or more. Get from established brands. If something goes wrong during that time, you can just file a warranty claim, no big stress there.
By the time the battery wears out after the warranty, chances are replacements or even upgrades will already be much cheaper and better than what we have today.
Honestly, I’m very happy shifting from my aging 9 yr old Nissan to an EV—especially one made by the FAW Group, one of China’s big players. Solid upgrade and I love it!

Battery Degradation ng EV is about 1% to 2% per year so bago ka maging 80% is aabutin ka ng 10years to 20years. siguro nmn nasulit mo na ung EV mo na un. kung sa ice yan marami nang sira yan sa dami ng moving parts.
kung sa ICE yan at nasira ang makina mo. magkano pa overhaul? if nasira ang transmission mo magkano ang pagawa ng tranmission?
pag nabangga ka lahat ng sasakyan wasak yan, kahit ICE minsan total wreck yan. kaya tayo may insurace para sa ganung scenario..

may ROI ang EV unlike sa ICE, PMS/GAS palang makakatipid kana ng almost 100k a year.....

wag din natin iisipin ang resale value. dahil pag nag ka kotse ka wag mo yan iisipin... kung yan ang mindset mo mag buy and sell ka nalng.
