Fez uses the same excuse whenever he's called out; they were two separate events, much like they were two different matchbooks.

This isn't the only time this has happened. The Cane Pole Gang story is another one that changes when he tells it.

Version A - He's on his way back from getting a slurpee when the Cane Pole Gang attack him and throw his bike in the ditch.
Version B - He's on his way back from getting a bag of potatoes to go with dinner when the Cane Pole Gang attack him. The potato bag breaks and he flees. When he gets home, his dad yells at him to go back to get the potatoes. "They comes from the dirt. They're fine"

The crazy part is if someone interviewed Ron I'm guessing even he couldn't tell you what was real or a bit Fez was making up.

wait a minute. So he got some details wrong in the story. Who remembers stories from when they were 5 or 6? He had to have been AT LEAST in his late thirties by 2003. I didn't remember anything from my childhood when I was a teen. Now I do remember my embarrassing stories but we all know we remember things how we want to and that we can remember things different as we age. There is also the issue that he has always had issues with his mom which could be why he thought of her the first time so maybe it was his dad all along but being that he always disliked his mom, assumed she'd be the one to put him in a horrible situation like that.

Now if he was intentionally lying, then yes he got caught not remembering his story correctly. I don't believe anything these guys say, even now. I still think the Fez issues that are happening now are a bit. I'm part of that very tiny group that thinks the whole thing is a storyline.

Love you @DiscoDog and @HeyBuddays
