Imagine how quickly these “ministers” would have zero interest in religion if all the money wasn’t tax exempt.

I don’t understand how someone can be so soulless as to mock, record, and not render aid to people who are injured and dying. No humanity. 💔

Aussie here. I knew someone who grew up in Potters' House. For some reason I told my new boyfriend about my friend's bad experiences. About two months into dating, we were walking down a street in my home town when a guy from Potter's House started talking at us and following us down the street. Maybe he recognised me from my connection to my friend. Anyway, my new boyfriend almost got into a fight with the guy when he wouldn't leave us alone. Twenty years later, my new boyfriend is now my husband and he still occasionally talks about the time I nearly got him beat up 😅.

“We’re going to show you how wrong and bad it is to be gay… WITH A LAVISH MUSICAL! 5,6,7,8-“ 🤣🤣

One of the happiest days of my adult life was the day I learned that The Potters House near my home in Denver Colorado was closed. When I drove past it a few weeks later, I was amazed to find that it was completely gone. No evidence at all that a church, or ANY building, had EVER been there. Some of those Mega-churches really scare me. Full blown cults.

I went to a “Judgement House” production when I was 13. Terrified me to no end. At the end they asked if anyone who hadn’t been saved wanted to get saved and my friend raised my hand as a joke. They took me to a back room and made me pray the sinner’s prayer and told me I wouldn’t be going to hell anymore. I actually got saved when I was 17 and could actually understand what was going on.

I was born and raised in the Prescott, AZ church, Wayman Mitchell was the pastor. I left when I was 19 and beyond grateful to get out. It most definitely IS a cult.

Sounds like pentecostal church when I was growing up in the 50's tru 80's when I left the control of my adopted mother. I call that the church of thou shall not do anything fun. When I was 21, the pastor started sending young men who were in his ministry program to ask me out to dinner. I played the piano, organ, sang specials, taught sunday school and he decided I would make a good pastor's wife. I did have a very good civil service job and paid my tithes. I would married one of his students, continue working, support the church and him while he finished his education. I had one young man, proposed me setting jn the car after we came back from dinner on our first date. I told him and rapud no and explained I had to take care of my widowed mother and besides I didnt know him fto n Adam. After 4 different guys asked me out, I told the pastor to stop it forcefully. He was a close friend of my mother and had been in her youth group when he was a teen during WW2. Even she had to talk to him to stop it. It caused a rift between them after over 20 tears that continued until her death. He said he had prayed and felt God wanted me to do this. I told him God hadn't told me anything and even the
Bible says to try the spirits and get confirmation.  Luckily, my mother didnt want to lose her golden goose.

I've met Pastor Mitchell back in the 90's. I've seen him in action. I have a funny story about the time he tried to cast a demon out of my son's ear.
There was no demon, my son is still deaf in that ear.

I’ve met people who were dealing with serious illness and then the added burden of thinking the illness is their own fault PLUS the fact that they don’t receive healing is also their own fault due to lack of faith. Totally broke them.

I was a member of this fellowship. There was good and bad. It is substantially changed, especially after Mitchell died. I cannot speak to everything on this video, I not only was a member but actually founded a church, closed after I left, and none of this nonsense was present. I attended a church in New Mexico for a number of years before moving. I still have friends there, despite leaving in 1997 (moved back to Pennsylvania). I've had good talks with some people in the fellowship and I'm thankful that the stuff I didn't like was mild compared to the nonsense in this video, but, objectively, a system that can allow that is fundamentally broken. I think many in that fellowship now see this and things have changed.

I went through intensive discipleship, it was pretty radical, but nobody controlled me. I learned a lot that still keeps me grounded.

One of the first things was from The Three Kings..read it. It's a awesome book and it prepared me for when the so-called spiritual authority was wacko, and when I encountered abuse like this, not just in the fellowship, I was equipped to keep my center and focus on Jesus.

I do remember when the nonsense about finding sins or spiritual reasons for sickness came in. They had a list. By then I was an assistant pastor because after launching the church, I was NOT interested in that as a paid gig, I was in the Navy. Anyway, I shut it down, and it was NOT in any churches I was part of.

Ironically, the guy who trained me to test the spirit, to know the Word, to center my life on Jesus alone, was and remains a minister in the fellowship, and I still have made respect for him.

I did outreach, nothing insane, but deliberately. We weren't trying to "recruit members", we were trying so share the Gospel. Even after I left the fellowship I continued with my late wife doing outreach, but we woukd share all the local churches with people we prayed with or led to Jesus.

The family shunning wasn't a thing in any churches I was involved with, nobody ever tried to make me cut myself off from family. But I know it was widespread in other churches, albeit I learned that after the fact.

I remember an evangelist trying to accuse me of masturbation, I rebuked him openly, and told the pastor that if he ever brought that guy in again, I was gone.

On tithing, we did believe in that, many Christians do. Again, the churches I was part of didn't push giving like I see here. I hope maybe I had some influence, but the irony is that the reason I was so staunch was because my pastor who discipled me taught me those things, taught me to steep myself in the Word.

How I left.

A pastor was found in an inappropriate relationship and despite having to report him according to the rules, I contacted his pastor, and despite his immediate removal, I was persecuted by the new pastor who said I was disloyal. We did not remain, although none of our friends in that church shunned us or anything and many visited us before we moved.

God works in mysterious ways. I found a lot of good in that fellowship. I married my late wife in that fellowship, and we had a great marriage for 33 years. But that is to the praise of Jesus Christ, nothing and nobody else, not the system that was far more off kilter than I saw in my own bubble.

A lot of this demon stuff and weird spiritual stuff was just kooky to me, and I loudly rebuked it often.

I was married at 22, wife was 25, but both of us believed in early marriage of our own accord long before that happened. I still believe in younf marriage but we do not prepare children for that nor support young couples.

On the cursing. I didn't see that, never happened in my presence.

I think this blanket treatment of a fellowship that has changed a lot and is not a monolith is problematic. It appears you are not a Christian and are trying to portray the church in the worse light. Sad for you.

A lot of what you presented here is a terrible misrepresentation. A lot of your accusations of motives and intentions are wacko.

One of the worst groups of people I’ve ever met. Glad you covered this cult. Ppl, please stay away from this “church“. They are biblically unsound, are mentally unstable, financially abusive, use fear tactics to keep their members there 3x a week or more, and ruin families. They also do fake healings and speaking in tongues. Not a good church to attach yourself or your family to. Know that the tree of Potters House bares no good fruit because the very tree is wicked. Everything she presented in this video is true. EVERYTHING

Hi Sommer ☺️ Aussie here. I remember the truck crash, the tragic deaths of the police officers and the scumbag Richard Pusey. I didn't know what lead up to it and had no idea about that crazy pastor/employer of the driver. Thank you for all the extra details.

There are multiple millions of people around the world that go to the Potter's house...and they would tell you...they are blessed...and many of these same people make a decision to be in the Christian Fellowship Churches....but a very few choose to leave and they're bitter And they're broken. . . Every denominations have people like this...
These are the one that have chosen to be tale bearers, gossips and evil semizers ...out of millions of people saved through the preaching of the fellowship church's...most stay and many become Pastors and Pastors Wifes.. and go on and build a soul winning work...

I checked on Google and found 3 Potters Churches near me and 1 Door Church.  We went to a church that was unaffiliated with this church for 18 years.  As I watched your video I was surprised how many of the same things our church did as the Potters church. Our old pastor has been in prison for 17 years now serving out a 23 year sentence.  I can't express the relief we experienced when that church broke up!!! We were wanting to leave but we were fearful of our older children remaining and how it would affect our family.  My heart goes out to those who are being deceived and manipulated by those Churches.

Great Video! Thank you for exposing this church. Its awesome to hear more and more people coming out and sharing the truth about the destructiveness of this organization. I was a lifelong member we went to the main church in Prescott AZ that started it all, grew up in the church my parents were pastors and missionaries. My family finally had enough and left last year, we're doing our best to speak out and share our story about why we left and why that church is so harmful to its members and the community.

OH MY GOD! I am born and raised in Prescott, and always would pass the huge Potter’s House on my way to class and grew up with neighbors who attended. They would always try to get me to go, saying there was donuts and candy and music. My mom, when she first moved here (before I was born) went to try out some local churches and the people at Potter’s House locked her in, not letting her out until the service was over. Terrifying.

Four Square College is a respected Pentecostal seminary, Wayman Mitchell was separated from the Pentecostal faith due to his radical views on Ordination of Preachers, he felt that the standard path to ordination took too long and relied on God's Word in the Bible too much, so he took to "making" his own preachers  his way. I learned a lot about this church as my sister was involved with them for about 5 years, now she is free from their grip and attends a normal church where God is first and His Word is law. This cult has done a lot to damage God's word and the work of the Holy Spirit. Beware of false prophets and wolves in sheep's clothing.

I worked at a large retail store and potters was across the road. During one xmas a group of them cane in and started harassing workers "theirs not enough jesus decortions" and other crap. A lady stood by my side and said to me " Jesus crys for you because your going to hell". We threw them out and the rest of the day left me in a foul mood. By chance waiting for a bus home a nun took a seat next to me, still in a pissed of state i asked her "why are some groups the way they are" we spoke for about 10mins and she made me feal alot better by putting things into perspective.
