Nick Ferrari not calling out the burden of proof is to me even worse than the initial “bet”

@DH-cw9it 1 year ago

Oh look, Nick giving his mate an easy time. To the surprise of no one

It’s for the person making the extraordinary claim to provide the extraordinary evidence.

Nigel clearly doesn’t understand how burden of proof works

Farage there asking the interviewer to prove a negative, what a surprise

@annegraham9339 1 year ago

Why oh why oh why is Farridge given endless repeated airtime? Where are the Lib Dems, the Greens, anyone else with more MPs???????????????????

@TheDazaroonee 1 year ago

Please please get Farage on with James, I just watched James' interview with Farage from 11 years ago, absolute masterclass in how to interview someone.

No Nigel thats not how it works. When you make an accusation, you provide the evidence that it exists- not 'the evidence will exist in the next months!".

How do people fall for this con artist?!

@SurinderKaur-cl1wu 1 year ago

he asks the presenter to prove that people not eating swans - ridiculous but also chilling if people are falling for this.

Isn't it weird that farage is only ever interviewed by Nick Ferrari on LBC and not James o'brien.

Farage says that the interviewer has to provide proof that something didn’t happen. This is ludicrous. In a court of law, the burden of proof is on the accuser providing the evidence of a crime. Everyone is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

It's actually refreshing hearing callers with articulate views and answers on LBC, and them having the mental capacity to question the nonsensical views that Farage says on a regular basis. There is hope out there people

It isn’t the person who disbelieves the claim to disprove it. It is the person making the claim to show the evidence. The more remarkable and unusual the claim, the greater the body of evidence needed to prove your point.
