There is enough metal in this song to build two aircraft carriers.

The lead singer is Rob Halford, an absolute metal god.

Priest doesn’t impress the rock and roll gods, they ARE the rock and roll gods!!! 😉🤘

It's been said "Other singers sing as good as they can, Rob Halford sings as good as he wants".

Your reaction is pretty much everyone's reaction the first time they hear this song... It's literally the perfect song

Rob Halford. Loosely responsible for the "look" of heavy metal. leather, spikes, etc. His vocal range is unreal.

The entire Painkiller album is just Metal perfection.

Painkiller is just pure, molten metal! Good choice!

The rock'n roll gods are PLEASED with Judas Priest? the Rock'n roll gods ARE Judas Priest.

"Painkiller" was recorded 16 years after their first album. Judas Priest has one of the most impressive and diverse discographies in the entirety of Metal. They were always willing to roll with the changes and you can pretty much learn how the Metal genre evolved just by listening to Judas Priest, even going as far as dropping the 2018 metal album of the year in their 60s. Absolute legends.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Judas Priest...lol

Laughing so hard now when he literally leaves the room to scream lolol

Dude you had me laughing my ass off so hard i was in tears. Its nice to see a black man appreciate heavy metal music so much.Ive always been a huge fan of rap and in the mid eighties i was looked at oddly for it. Usually people are always so worried about leaving their comfort zone that they dont allow themselves the freedom to enjoy good damn music
At the end of the day its just music my brother and we all should be able to enjoy it without hesitation or restrictions. Much respect !

Funny how much you appreciate this Judas Priest song. Some other music reactors that I have followed, that I'd thought would understand the metal genre disappointed me. Why? Because in order to understand any genre of music you really need to understand their idiosyncrasy. The early metal had those types of screams. Pretty much, these people reacting in a way they were just laughing at Rob's vocals, his range on vocals and disqualifying. Preston, every video I' have seen you react, no matter the band or music genre, you are always on point, also always respectful about the music with precise views. Good for you dude!

I am not allowed to drive listening to this track. Seriously.

The vocalist Rob Halford is literally nicknamed THE METAL GOD. I mean that says it all right there. 100's of thousands of bands, but Priest were one of the most important bands to shape Metal music in the 70's, as well as the typical look (leather, metal studs etc). They're idolized by a lot of bands that came after, as well as metal/rock fans. On this song, Halford is singing to suit the heavy and chaotic vibe, so it's really high pitched and crazy. You'll be shocked at the range he has, and how many different styles are done. To me though, this was their absolute peak. Painkiller is an incredible album, and held it's own with any of the younger bands that were around at the time. They were already veterans in 1990, and yet they STILL kick ass today, putting out an album just this year, and it was incredible! More Priest please. Check any of the songs from Firepower (2018) to see just how badass they still are.

Metal God Rob Halford on lead screams.
Scott Travis killing it on drums.
Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing both shredding on guitars.
Several badass guitar solos.
Ian Hill playing heavy bass.

I am CRYING holy fuck!! This is one of my favourite hard metal songs. This guy's reaction is amazing oh my god. The more you listen to this song the more you love it.
