In this offshore adventure, Spence heads out from Perth, Western Australia, targeting deep water species in the Perth Trench. How he manages to catch this big deep water fish is unbelievable and has to be seen to be believed.
Along the way, he shares a stack of practical deep drop knowledge, covering:
✅ How Spence looks for ground
✅ Tips on picking the right tides for deep dropping
✅ Raw, on-water fishing action with real-time rigging and strategy
What seems to be a potentially early trip home, turns into disaster out on the water and things break!
Whether you’re looking to learn the ropes or sharpen your offshore tactics, Spence brings a down-to-earth, hands-on approach backed by results from the deep.

That spinal wire thing is the go eh 👍
Get some lovin into that jigging reel that got dunked to 🤟
hows that front lawn smell mate? you get the birds hanging around at all??
Me personally I would never put the 1kg jig on a manual jig rod like yours as I’m running similar I find a 500max. I’ve pushed it out to 750 but 500gm with 30lb seem to sink similarly to a 1kg on the electric rod. Too hard to figure out what’s happening
