its the first time when i see someone talk about cut content from all the expansions

It's interesting that the existence of the The Portal Device chapter, internally known as c1a1, implies that Gordon was complicit in the covert, questionable ethics of Black Mesa messing with other worlds and investigating alien species. Whereas the retail HL he's clueless, he's just there to look at rocks.

man, lucia is a very well spoken headcrab zombie

the gun nerd ragebait worked, damn you!!!

Ah yes, the 90s popular plot of "research to make portals to another dimension goes wrong"

2:35 least tanky HECU soldier:

4:29 that elevator was meant to be used as a shortcut for returning to the loading bay after realigning the satelite dish
4:40 you were required to kill that guard and take his keycard to access the room where the head scientist was locked up. This was from an era when guards were enemies instead off allies.

The Blue-Shift prototype actually has really interesting stuff, such as a cut Gargantua encounter, and Assassins.

I agree it's a shame that we didn't get to save Gordon in retail Decay. The only question I have is why didn't Gina and Collette fish Gordon's body out of the trash compactor?

Even if they'd assume he's already dead, they could still check his body for supplies and battery and discover that his vitals are still active. Furthermore, any player returning from HL1 would certainly try to climb down the trash compactor to check on Gordon, not just because the "hey, I know that guy" moment, but also because nearly every HEV suit corpse in HL1 have a lot of dropped items next to them.

Haven't watched the full video but I have to say that your outfit is fire af

Missed opportunity to have Bober replace the headcrab for a single scene.

18:18

"I'm very disappointed in you Adrian."

Surprised you didn’t mention the earlier version of the HD scientist models, which are a lot more realistic and actually fit better with the final HD Barney model.

Great video! Just a little fun fact: there’s an unused animation of the Gargantua getting crushed by the bridge; that would explain how you’d kill it.

9:25 there is an unused animation for the Garg getting flattened

I find the skybox seen at 11:49 quite interesting, as there has never been a modern city setting in Half-Life. Perhaps it would’ve been used in a G-Man “flash-forward” scene, like the cut intro of Half-Life 2?

Thank you that you know decay exist since only 10 games are canon in half life-portal universe including decay (i know decay is NOT a standalone game, but i mention it separately since sadly it is treated like this by valve, to be something forgoten😢)

Mr. Friendly is lucky Valve never added him, because I would’ve shown him who the real monster is

Flashbang joke was genuinely very funny, thanks for including it
