What is Christian hypocrisy, and how can you know whether your faith is genuine? Pastor Doug Batchelor examines Jesus’ warnings to the scribes and Pharisees in Matthew 23 and explains why outward religion cannot replace a heart transformed by God.

Learn what the Bible says about religious hypocrisy, pride, fear of what others think, and pretending to be righteous. Discover how repentance, honesty, surrender, and obedience can cleanse the heart and help Christians live an authentic life with Jesus.

"Put on the whole armour of God. THAT armour does not fail!"

About 30 yrs. Ago I was invited to a SABBATH meeting to hear a man speak. Had never heard of him before...he was small in stature, but Mighty in Word. I still love Pastor Doug's explanation of Scriptures. Thank You Lord for this man's teachings. AMEN.

Watching is being vigilant and alert so that you know what to pray for and about! And that you are not caught unawares or blindsided. It suggests being prepared!
