I'm trying to achieve something that, to me, is worth far more than retirement: the freedom to decide how I want to live my life. But I haven't achieved it yet, and in this video, I'll explain clearly, without selling you any magic formula, how I'm trying to do it, without depending on a pension, unemployment benefits, or any other kind of handout.

I start with a very simple idea: before investing, you have to stop losing money. We're talking about debt, personal loans, financed cars, leasing, and what's known as lifestyle inflation. Then comes the emergency fund, reducing expenses, building assets, and ensuring that a larger portion of our money works in our favor.

And once we've built a foundation, it's time to talk about investments, diversification, and how I would allocate my money. We'll also look at a possibility that I find increasingly interesting: changing our place of residence to increase our purchasing power. Could Southeast Asia, and specifically Cambodia, be part of this plan? I don't know yet if I'll manage it, but this is the path I'm starting to explore.
