My mom says I'm handsome

Asking people if you are attractive rarely gets a truthful answer unless you're actually attractive so you'll never really know

Just ask a toddler if you look ugly, they have zero filter and maximum honesty.

I actually look great in the mirror.
It's once I leave the house that I start looking like shit.

Scientific confirmation for my ugliness

I can always rely on these videos to make me feel bad about myself!

Become a teacher! Children are so honest. They treated me so different when I was fat vs when I'm fit

as a range I think i am between danny devito and henry cavill.

If you’re hot, you know you’re hot. If you’re ugly, it’s actually more confusing because polite people won’t say that to your face.

ah yes the vicious cycle of "mirrors no longer reflect a person that i am but an accumulation of rotten flesh and sickly flaws no eyes bare to look at" and "IM SO FUJKING HOT RAAAAAAHHH"

Sometimes woman stare at me, but I think it's because I look homeless

Now my ugliness can be proved scientifically.

all you have to do is post a picture of yourself captioned “i’m so ugly.”

if people respond comforting you and reassuring you that you’re hot- then you’re definitely unattractive. if people respond that you’re “asking for attention” or “annoying”- you’re hot

Don't worry, I already know I ain't. No need for science.

I think children and just being in public settings are better indicator. If they say "hi", smile at you or just stare with admiration, or approach gently and treat you with good manners that's mostly key indicators.

I also believe that a person's attractiveness is significantly influenced by their behavior and other similar factors, in addition to their innate physical qualities.

If people you find attractive find you attractive, that's your answer and all the validation you need. If that does not happen, then there's your answer as well.

I think you forgot the most reliable method - going outside.
You will know if you're attractive or not based on how strangers, especially of the opposite sex, react to you. If you're attractive, people will be a lot nicer to you.  They will smile at you, stare a little too long, try to get in your personal space, etc. And when  you speak to them, it's not as akward. They'll compliment you, engage in the conversation and be very curious about you.

I have terrible body dismorphia.  I hate seeing pictures of myself, all I see is a double chin, deep tear troughs, and beefy arms.  I just wanna cry and hide when I them.  But then random strangers of both genders will make my day with a "wow you're really pretty" and I feel really confident until I spot myself in a candid photo someone took at the same event, then I convince myself those people probably just felt sorry for me and were trying to be nice

You look to others like the most attractive unenhanced photo you have of yourself. I have never seen a photo of a family member or friend that looks so good that it does not look like them. However I have seen many bad photos of family and friends that really don’t look like them. Photos can make you look worse than you do, they cannot make you look better than you are.
