Our baby girl is due Feb 16th 💕 and I’m recently OBSESSED with watching nesting vlogs 😅

Personally I packed a whole suitcase for the hospital of stuff for myself and I don’t think I even ended up using anything besides shampoo and conditioner for when I showered there. They provide you with everything you need! Also the spectra S1 is the best pump! I had to exclusively pump for the first 4 months because my son wouldn’t latch and it is such an amazing pump and it is chargeable so you can also take it on the go. I got the willow pump and I hated it, I barely got any milk with that one. With the spectra I could pump for 10 minutes and get a full bottle of milk so it was actually easier for me. The suction is just better with the bigger pumps.

You need lots of baby washcloths ( get for teething as well as bath time. Run water over them and put in the freezer for chewing on when the time comes) and lots of burp cloths. The muslin fabric won’t be good enough bc they will soak thur instantly

Due with my second baby in a couple months and the products the hospital gave were perfectly fine last time.  I only brought my upside down peri bottle just because I liked it better. Save your nice stuff for home that way you don’t have to bring so much with you.

Regarding the few questions you had that I feel inclined to answer; for baby wash I suggest Alaffia, it’s a clean product and completely safe, no hormone disrupting chemicals or fragrances, which is best for little especially. And then for the breast pump, I don’t personally pump, or bottle feed. However I have used the Haakaa brand ladybug milk catcher. I’m smaller chested and they’re fairly discreet. You will be shocked at the amount of milk you can collect just on the other side while baby is nursing. I could not believe how much just goes to waste if not collected. I like to donate mine!

i would definitely use the hospitals postpartum items, i tore pretty badily (internal and external tearing) and the hospitals products got me through the pain the few days i was there. they usually give you pads, boy shorts, tucks pads, and cooling spray. the only thing i would take is your own peri bottle and some wet wipes!

I found that the diaper genie would start to smell bad after just 2 or 3 days so we ended up not really using it and just putting dirty diapers in our outdoor garage garbage can. Hopefully yours will be better but that was our experience.

I found the zum detergent at target and am so happy! I dont order stuff online and was bummed that it was an Amazon item! ❤❤

I have the Momcozy M5 and it is really good for wearable but agree it doesn’t fully empty. I actually prefer just using the medela manual hand pump to get it done quicker and you can get the extraction you want, if you don’t want to be hooked up to the machine! The haaka shell is awesome as well for wearable to catch letdown and it is a manual pump

I'm brand new to your page and loved this vid!! 4th time momma here, due next month(April) with my last beeb. A little girlie!! Can't wait to see her!!

For breastfeeding success, please get the Spectra! If you can’t empty your breast fully, you can kill your milk supply. And please get fitted for your breast pump flange, if it’s the wrong size it could be painful and again ruin your supply. There’s also inserts you can purchase. It’s so handy to have an IBCLC lactation consultant in mind if things go south. You can set up a prenatal appointment before baby comes to set you up for success.

You most likely won’t need a nail clipper or file for her for awhile. I would use the hospital’s post partum products but maybe bring post partum underwear since theirs are usually just mesh ones, they are comfortable though.

Also Momcozy is great for out and about and the spectra is great for when your home☺️ I personally have both

It’s better to use one soap/moisturiser at atime. If there irritation you may not know which one to eliminate. The best

I recommend taking your own peri bottle

also having a baby girl in August 🩷🥹😭

Get a Haaka or the Elvie Curve. When your baby latches to one breast, the other breast tends to leak A LOT, and it catches it so breast milk doesn’t go to waste!

My son has super sensitive skin and mustela has worked great for us for baby wash

First time mom of a baby boy due in October <3 I’m a huge Halloween person so it was meant to be.

Congratulations with your baby I still have long ways to go for my baby I'm hoping it's a girl I have 5 boys all ready
