That was when Cleveland TRULY was THE rock & roll capitol of the world. Not only The Agora, but there were SO MANY venues in Northern Ohio that were conducive to the development of the art and craft we know as "Rock & Roll". Major talents would just "show up" to try out new material before taking it on the road. When national concert tours were scheduled, Cleveland was "a must play" destination. The Rock-n-roll Hall of Fame is a testimony of THAT influence in the 50s, 60 & 70s. Although Cleveland is now reborn and has blossomed as a city, we are unfortunately, not even a shadow, of the "music city", we once were.
Even though I'm from Cleveland and spent many a night at the Agora, I saw SAHB perform at The Whisky A-Go-Go in West Hollywood sometime around Thanksgiving 1974. We had a 2nd row table, center stage, it was the greatest show I've ever seen. Didn't notice, but off to the right of the stage was a door with a stairway, During Anthem when the acappella singing started, a spotlight highlighted a woman flowing down the stairs in a white dress, followed by 3 or so kilted bagpipers and then drummers.
Прошло 45 лет с тех пор как я познакомился с западной музыкой и теперь когда всё доступно первым является Алекс Харви и его бэнд это до глубины души это от сердца и лучших умственных душевных поисков .
Słucham go już któryś raz z kolei. Coś niesamowitego. Leci od rana. Ten utwór niesie ze sobą taką moc, że można nim napędzić ponadśmiertelny statek galaktyczny. Do następnej galaktyki można byłoby nim dolecieć w tydzień.
