"Rips off the Pedal sticker from the Prius" - And lets throw it in the garbage. He proceeds to throw the sticker in the back seat! lol

EV mode: When you need to leave the house and not let anyone know your gone.

That car is a perfect candidate for Blue Devil.
Amazing it still runs, the power windows work, and the A/C blows ice cold.
It's still got some life left in it.

I have two Prius (2015). The beeping after the hatch was shut is telling you the proximity key is inside the car. That's why the car came to life right after the booster was attached. We love our cats. One is a sedan and the other is a wagon. Wonderful cars!

As a car guy you should know that Toyota's break-in period is like 150,000 miles

I had a 2011 I bought at like 245,xxx, and it made it to 350,xxx miles before someone rearended me. Mine did have the shuttering feeling yours has, but I changed the transmission fluid then it went away. Super reliable vehicle, and I have no idea if the head gasket was ever done on it.

LOVE THE PRIUS!!!

Honestly this Prius is well worth fixing properly, especially with how cars are made like junk today.

If you can't do head gasket yourself, than just drop a used JDM engine in it for like $700-800, clean the EGR (causes the vibration and also causes higher head temps which lead to the HG failing in the first place), throw fresh coolant and oil in it and call it a day. A Prius like that can easily go a million miles plus!

I would change the oil/filter and drive it for a bit again to make sure there is water in the oil for sure and not from condensation from sitting somewhere damp/cold.

Time for a bottle of the old Blue Devil Randy 👍

I vote to have Randy and Mike perform a head gasket replacement on the Prius. That magic in the bottle in my opinion is for the most part snake oil, even if it works I doubt that is a permanent fix.

Damn! I can see why rideshare drivers love these so much, even with the HGF it's still amazing that it made it that far, I had a vehicle (not a Prius) with an engine that was also notorious for this and that failed after about 80k, I fixed it and sold it before it had a chance to fail again lol.
